Thor in the post-modern world

What’s weird is that I was in the position to blog to you all, early, but then when the time rolled around when I usually do I just didn’t.

Right now, another Thor movie is on. This is the second Thor movie playing here at my place today. My son’s middle name is Thor – yes, that deity who has somehow continued to be so popular that he has a comic book and some movies within the past ten years: still with us in the 21st century.

The truth is that these are B movies or even C, but easy as it is to criticize them I don’t see myself as literally being able to get out there and bring together a superior quality movie any time soon.

As far as movies go, I believe my part would be to write or help write the screenplay or to have a bit part as an extra or working with the administrative staff or some peon level of help.

In reality, the original title for the Science Fiction novel starring Gezka FaucMerz and Kiel Bronson was originally called The Children of Loki. I don’t know whether or not that title will work in the long run as it is science fiction not old mythology. Even so, as it ties it with the writing project I have worked on most recently in real life and with the movie playing as I write this, it bears mentioning.
